The Great Three Gorges Art Troup of Yangtze River Three Gorges Tourism Company is a professional art troup which is developing very quikly. In 2006, it launched a big situational drama which demonstrating the morden industorial culture --- Three Gorges in Golden Age. The theme of the drama is the Three Gorges Project Construction. Clinging to the time background of reforming and opening up, the drama mainly focuse on the Yangtze River flood controlling culture and the culture of the Three Gorges Project. The drama consists of 6 parts, namely the prologue, Jijiang Xianhun, Bainian Zhuimeng, Tianzhu Qiguan, Shengshi Xiajiang and the epilogue. Those parts demonstrate our ancestors¡¯ praise of nature, the impact to the creatures caused by the Yangtze River floods, the strong perseverance that we Chinese people rely on to fight against floods, the wonderful achievement created by Three Gorges Dam, the benefits that created by the Three Gorges Project, the beautiful vision of the peaceful future . The drama reveals the conviction of the new centery that man and nature can develop harmoniously and the great pioneering spirit of Chinese people.
The design elements of Three Gorges in Golden Age is extracted from the representative symbols of industrial buildings in the Three Gorges Project. It was well-known cultural scholar, Mr. Yu Qiuyu that named for the performance and held the position of consultants. The performance is presented by the Great Three Gorges Art Troup.It is the first large-scale indoor scenes performance at the Yangtze River watershed.
A large number of China¡¯s first-class producers gathered in the performance, including Mr.Ma Zhiguang, the director of every Dalian International Fashion Festival opening ceremony; Mr.Yu Haibo, the famous overseas Chinese stage art designer; Mr. Fang Ming , the famous composer; Mr. Liu Wenhao ,the famous lighting designer; Mr. Pan Xiaodong, the famous sound designer; Ms. Ling Hong, senior fashion clothes designer; Mr. Xu Shijun, the national first-class stage designer and so on.Contemporary aesthetic ideas are condensed in the performance , which made it grand and shocking and fully meets the need of the tourists¡¯eyes. |
